Sombre to stone 

Titled  "Sombre to Stone" portrays a journey of my personal experience healing through trauma. Through this work, the artist have empowered himself to confront the predicament that he has been enduring for the past year by embracing self as the subject.

Sombre to Stone reflects a series of dramatic imagery of the artist's portraiture and asemic writings on a stone slab, which symbolizes the liberation of grief and sadness. The intention of this is to confront the predicament that has affected him for years in the hopes of bringing closure to the traumatic past. He empowers himself to show his vulnerability through photography as a form of self protection within a frame. It is his hope to enlighten the individuals who have suffered comparable loss, pain and suffering may find solace in photography.
