Sound art
This audio was created based on memories. Although a body and a memory can seem like two distinct items, I believe that it can actually be perceived to be the same. One's memories are simply expressions of the experiences of one's body. Thus the daily experiences of the body are reflected as memories in the mind. The sounds found in this audio, we're created based on the sounds which I have heard throughout the past few months. These are the sounds that surrounded me for a time when I was devastated. During this time period, I was at home all the time, and the sounds in which I heard came to me as a form of comfort, granting me the solace that I so desperately needed.
I attempted to depict a scene at the beach where I feel is a place of peace and tranquility. The beach is a place I frequent to find ease within myself. The audio includes the sounds that I heard during the times at the beach. I emphasized on the sounds which I found were particularly peace inducing such as the laughter of children, morning greetings from strangers, and waves upon the shore. Using a flute and piano, I created a background music to create a relaxing ambient sound.
