In many ways, the pandemic changes people's lives; it made me feel closer to my family. This photograph was taken to capture the bond that between my sister and myself. Ever since, we gather in the living room to engage in activities and socialize.

My artwork is inspired by the feeling of being trapped that I had during the pandemic. To interpret time and space, I used boxes, which have a tight knit configuration that encloses into one another, inducing feelings of claustrophobia and suffocation. The distorted image of a body represents time dilation during the pandemic.

I remember as a kid going into the ladies room to take a dump without having the fear of being called a pervert, now that I'm older, I realize how disobedient I was as a child.
